Electronic Garden Live CD and special edition

It has indeed been a busy month since I'm now delighted to announce the release of a limited live CD, Electronic Garden, which if bought here will be accompanied by another free album.

With a catalogue busy with commissions, soundtracks and studio releases it’s extremely rare to find an official live recording of mine, so Electronic Garden stands out by measure of this. Recorded outdoors in the small open air amphitheatre in the big garden of Dresden in Germany in 2007, the set comprised of variations on tunes as well as a significant portion of largely improvised unreleased material, performed exclusively here and never again.

Opening with the epic rhythmic Muster that soars with a radiant splendor, moving through the flickering nervy melancholic pulses of Backwood, the organic warmth and harmonies of The Nature of Being and closing with the atmospheric Singing Through Qualia, Electronic Garden captures Scanner in full live mode.

All initial orders for this release via Greedbag will be accompanied by a special digital release of Scanner: Live at 1/4 Inch Wollongong 01.12.2010, a completed unreleased recording from Australia, remastered for this edition. Believe me that was an incredibly epic set and completely different from Electronic Garden. Digital codes for this release will be sent out the week beginning 24 March. Anyone who has pre-ordered the CD will automatically receive this special edition.

As always, thanks for your support.

Best wishes
